Dylan Thurston is a percussionist, pianist, and composer based in Brooklyn, NY. He recently scored the documentary Tic Talk: Time to Heal from director Maria Florencia Smith, and the sci-fi comedy feature Snatchers from director John Kingman. He composes music for New York City hidden history podcast City Between and modern dance podcast Pod De Deux.

He currently plays drums for the projects of author and composer Michael Hearst, and has toured and recorded with Daniel Hart, John Davis, Batterie-en-Valise, Bombadil, David Karsten Daniels, Le Big Zero, and many others. He holds a Bachelor of Music in Percussion Performance from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Master of Music in Screen Scoring from New York University.
